BIO
Baritone Chase Correll is based in Baltimore, Maryland. He is an adaptable and authentic performer who enjoys singing a wide range of repertoire from various time periods, with a particular interest in new music and music written by underrepresented composers.

This coming season, he will be singing the role of Mr. Darcy in an abridged version of Kirke Mechem’s adaptation of Pride and Prejudice with the Peabody Opera Theatre. Previously, in August of 2025 Chase performed several concerts of staged bel canto arias and opera scenes with Classic Lyric Arts Italy. In February of 2025 he collaborated with composer Forrest Wentzel on the premier of his new work Albert Daydreams as part of the Peabody Composition Department’s Art Song Collaboration Recital.

As an accomplished ensemble singer, Chase has performed with numerous choirs across the United States and internationally. With the Delaware Choral Scholars, he was a featured soloist at the 2024 World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand; the choir earned four gold medals and the title of World Champions. Chase has served as a member of and frequent soloist with the University of Delaware Chorale and the Delaware Choral Society for several seasons. He is also an active member of The Emmanuel Choir in Baltimore.
Chase is currently studying at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University under the tutelage of Randall Scarlata.
